If one were to line up all the wagons with coal that thanks to geothermal didn't need to be burned in Stargard, they would form a line stretching for tens of kilometers. Data for the years 2012–2025 clearly show: G-Term Energy is not just a heat supplier, it is primarily a powerful shield protecting the air above our city.
Scale that impresses: 2 856 fewer wagons
The most graphic proof of Stargard's decarbonization success is the amount of saved fossil fuel. In the years 2012–2025, green energy production allowed avoiding the consumption of as much as 171 405 000 tons of coal.

To better understand this number, it's worth visualizing it: it's as if 2 856 coal wagons did not enter Stargard and were not burned. Thanks to this, the city avoided burdensome transport, storage, and – most importantly – the process of burning a huge amount of raw material in the municipal heating plant.
A breath for the city: Stop to dust and CO2
Limiting coal combustion translates directly into concrete air purity parameters. Numbers gathered over the last 13 years are impressive:
- 38.09 thousand tons of avoided CO2 emission: This is our real contribution to the fight against global warming. Such an amount of carbon dioxide did not enter the atmosphere, significantly lowering the city's carbon footprint.
- 125.4 tons of non-emitted dusts: This is key information for residents' health. Suspended particulate matter is the main component of smog – thanks to geothermal, air in Stargard is noticeably cleaner.
Geothermal instead of chimneys
For years, the energy landscape of cities was associated with smoking chimneys. Stargard, thanks to G-Term Energy technology, is consistently moving away from this image. Replacing the traditional combustion process in PEC with clean heat from the depths of the Earth means that harmful substances, which once settled on our homes and lungs, simply ceased to be produced.
Summary of a decade of change
The balance of years 2012–2025 is proof that energy transformation in Stargard is not just a slogan, but a measurable ecological success. Every gigajoule of heat from G-Term Energy means less dust, fewer greenhouse gases, and thousands of tons of coal remaining in the ground instead of polluting our sky.
