In the era of energy transformation, we are increasingly getting used to the sight of wind farms or expanses of solar panels. However, there exists an energy source that remains almost entirely hidden from human sight, not interfering with the aesthetics of the surroundings. Geothermal, represented in our city by G-Term Energy, is an example of technology that draws from the planet's resources in the most discreet and natural way.

Architecture hidden underground

The biggest asset of geothermal in the context of landscape is its minimal "surface footprint". While other renewable energy sources require huge spaces, the heart of the geothermal system beats deep underground.

In Stargard, the entire extraction and transmission infrastructure is designed so as not to dominate urban and suburban architecture. Apart from the necessary infrastructure of the heating plant itself, no traces of extraction are visible on the surface. Thanks to this, we can enjoy stable supplies of ecological heat without losing the visual values of our region. This is energy that respects the space we live in.

Clean sky and healthier forest-adjacent nature

Geothermal's impact on the landscape is not just a matter of buildings, but primarily atmospheric purity. Traditional coal combustion involves the necessity of building tall chimneys and emitting smoke plumes, which have permanently inscribed themselves into the industrial image of many cities.

G-Term Energy activity reverses this trend:
  • Smoke elimination: Replacing coal with clean thermal water means we rarely see dark exhaust plumes over Stargard. Since 2012, burning over 171 thousand tons of coal has been avoided, restoring the sky to its natural brilliance.
  • Vegetation protection: Lack of sulfur and nitrogen oxide emissions directly affects the condition of Stargard parks and forests surrounding the city. Plants are healthier, and the soil free from falling combustion products.
Harmony with the ecosystem

Geothermal is a closed loop. Thermal water, after releasing heat in exchangers, returns to the same geological level from which it was taken. This does not affect groundwater or local rivers, such as the Ina. Thanks to this, the region's natural water resources remain intact, and biodiversity is fully protected.

Future without chimneys

In 2026, the strive for climate neutrality becomes a fact. Stargard's example shows that modern energy economy can be "aesthetic". By choosing G-Term Energy technology, we bet on development that does not destroy the landscape but ennobles it – cleaning the air and allowing nature to breathe fully.
