Stable renewable energy in Stargard

Wind turbines need strong wind, solar panels need sunshine, and biomass needs a cheap, steady supply chain. Geothermal energy has none of these limitations. It is clean energy flowing from deep underground, completely independent of the weather or the season. It delivers steady heat 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, guaranteeing the city full security of supply.

Our city sits on a genuine underground treasure that puts Stargard at the top of national rankings. We use this potential on a scale unmatched anywhere else in Poland. See the numbers that speak for themselves.

The SPF (seasonal performance factor) shows how many units of heat we get from one unit of electricity. A domestic heat pump (air-source or ground-source) typically achieves between 3 and 5. Ours is 41, because the water beneath Stargard is already at 90°C. We need electricity almost exclusively to pump it, not to heat it.
